Hoogenberg, Maureen May passed away peacefully on March 19, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Dick; daughter, Carol Lane; five grandchildren, Stacy (Nick), Cory (April), Jesse, Alysha and Brooke (Chris); six great grandchildren, Kalum, Aden, Talen, Drew, Elizabeth and Joanna; brothers Del (Terry), Pat, James and sister, Kathleen (Craig). Sadly predeceased by son, Rick and daughter, Joanne (Jaime). Maureen was remembered for her wicked sense of humour, caring spirit, luck and love for the small things in life. An early influence turned Maureen to her passion of bowling for over 50 years. Through those years she was actively involved in volunteering for many organizations and a dedicated member of the lady Lions Club and Elvis Festival. She was an artisan, the talent that ran through her finger tips was endless and she could make just about anything. Maureen’s drive to keep up with technology kept her mind young and her connection with her loved ones strong. At the end of the day all she needed was a good cup of coffee and the great company of all her friends and family around her. A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at a later date.
