Martha Faasse passed into the presence of Jesus on November 10, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Martha is survived by her loving husband Gordon, daughter Donna (Rob) Janke, grandchildren Tyler (Kathleen) Austring, Jolene (Mikael) Lehmann, Kaylan (Leanne) Austring and great granddaughter Tory Austring. Martha was a gifted pianist. She touched many people with the spiritual passion expressed through her piano playing. Martha was generous, thoughtful and warm hearted. Her husband Gordon, daughter Donna and family miss her, but rejoice in knowing she is at home now in the arms of Jesus. A celebration of Martha’s life was held on the 15th of November, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Funeral Home’s Rosedale Chapel, 13205 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland, BC, with Pastor Larry Schram officiating.
