Marianne Compton passed away peacefully on November 3, 2010 at the age of 79. Marianne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children; Cindy, Jay (Jill), Sandra, Peter (Anna-Marie), three grandchildren; Justina, Jonathan, and Cassidy, all of Calgary, AB. Predeceased by husband; Bruce and son; Michael. Thank you to the staff of The Hamlets in Penticton for their superb loving care of Marianne for the last years of her life. Special thanks to Tina Savoie for her care, love and companionship and to Ted who’s company was a great comfort to our mother. Mom spent many years devoting her time to the community of Summerland which she loved dearly. The world is a better place having had Marianne in it.
