Margit Ilona Kolarcik passed away peacefully on March 31, 2019 while in hospital at the age of 74. Born in Germany in 1944, Margit was very proud of her German heritage and reminders of Germany were all around her home.
She worked for the Credit Union in Summerland for many years and was involved with the Lady Lions. Camping, fishing, playing card and family were a big part of Margit's life. After Ed's passing, she relocated to Leduc, Alberta where she resided until her passing.
Margit was predeceased by her husband Ed Kolarcik, and her parents, Gus and Franziska Bernardy.
Margit will be lovingly remembered by her son Steve Warm (Claire), son Chris Kolarcik, brothers Mike and Ralph Bernardy along with their families as well as numerous friends and extended family.
A Celebration of Life for Margit will be held later this year. Date and location will be announced. In lieu of cards and flowers, a gift in memory of Margit may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
