Margaret Elizabeth Mary CAMPBELL Born August 27,1911 in Norton, AB passed away peacefully in Sunshine Lodge, Campbell River B.C. on May 2,2005. Sadly predeceased by her husband Colin (1989), infant daughter Evelyn (1938), son Vernon (1990), daughter Marjorie (2005) and sisters Evelyn and Hazel. Survived by her cherished grand-daughters Leanne (Jim), Kim (Dean), Tracey (Carl), Cathy (Darryl), and Cindy (Lee) and adored great-grandchildren Zackary, Colton, Sienna, Jazmine, Autumn, and Jorja. One sister Marion Jenner, Castlegar B.C. and daughter -in-law Jean of Kelowna. “Adopted” grandmother to the Lee family of Summerland. She was a long time resident of Summerland, moving with her family from Flin Flon MB in 1947. She was a very active member of the Summerland United Church and one of the original workers for the food bank that started in the church basement. An amazing lady who was very much loved and will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family, great baking ,wonderful handwork and beautiful roses. She will be missed. A small family service was held in Campbell River on May 8th. Internment to follow in Canyon View Cemetery beside her beloved Colin at a later date.
