March 13, 1927 - November 19, 2022
In loving memory ~
Lola passed away peacefully in the Penticton Hospital, after suffering a short illness, triggered by a fall.
She was born in Pollockville, Alberta on March 13th, 1927. Her father was Charles A. Seefeldt (a farmer from South Dakota); and her mother was Nancy M. Potts from Arkansas.
Lola was predeceased by her husband Almer Soderberg (from Vidora, Saskatchewan). They were married on July 20th, 1957 in Calgary, Alberta. She is survived by her brother Fred Seefeldt of Brooks, Alberta, and her sister Gwen Cundy of Summerland. There are many nieces and nephews and extended family around the western provinces.
She worked as a hairdresser in Calgary and Summerland since 1969. She was active at the drop-in center, volunteering in a variety of capacities, and was a greeter at the high school for many years. Lola was an avid bowler in the community and at provincial levels and was known to have broken a score 300.
She loved to travel and made trips to New Zealand and China.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Parkdale Housing Society and Interior Health.
Lola passed away on November 19th, 2022, and at her previous request, there will be no memorial service.
