We are greatly saddened to announce the sudden passing of Lindsey. We lost our son, father, brother, uncle, animal and nature lover, outdoor adventurer, horse-whisperer and good friend. Lindsey was born in Saskatchewan, where he spent his early years until moving with his family to Abbotsford, BC. After completing high school, he began a career with Big-O Tire, where he worked for a number of years, and was well known for providing exemplary customer service. Lindsey shifted to Summerland in 1996 where he continued to work in the tire industry for a short period before taking early retirement to manage his health. Lindsey was a presence in our little town and so much power to him for finding his world and his horses. He will be deeply missed by his dedicated and loving mother, Myrtle Ross. Lindsey was the father of Kristian, Seth and Mikaela and "Cowboy Grandpa" to their children. He was a sibling to Marcia, Dwayne and Darlene, a brother-in-law to Janie and an uncle to several nieces and nephews. We will all miss him very much, remember him fondly and take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Darrell and his father, Victor.
We invite you to join us at Beck Ranch, 860 Meadow Valley Road, Summerland, BC at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, for Lindsey's Last Ride, followed by a celebration of his life at the Summerland Rodeo Grounds, 18707 Bathville Road, Summerland, BC.
