In Loving Memory ~
Linda Holman of Summerland, B.C., left this earth on February 23, 2023, in the manner most of us could only wish for - by choice and surrounded by those who loved her deeply. She was 76.
Born on April 4, 1946, to Phil and Edna Munro of Summerland, B.C. Linda was and always had been a builder of friendships and community.
From lifeguarding as a teenager to teaching elementary school for decades, Linda was always active in the improvement of the lives of those around her and the support for those who needed it.
Community and love were Linda's legacy. Her children and family are left with loving memories of both. The building she was a resident of for only the last three years will be left with a notable and significant absence. Her light and energy will be missed.
Linda lived every moment to the fullest each day, with new experiences, caring, friendships and laughter. We can all only hope to have a fraction of that impact once we one day are no longer here.
Even the rough tough biker dragon spouse, Brent couldn't tame the wild free spirit of Linda. She taught him the best taste of nature and the Okanagan with motorcycle rides and detours; always ready to learn and share life, she enjoyed every moment.
To be so content with the fulfillment of connection and love in your final moments is all I could ever hope for any loved one.
In lieu of flowers, Linda would be grateful for any donations made to the Summerland Museum.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
