Kurt Walther. It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the very sudden and tragic passing of Kurt. Kurt was called to life on September 22nd, 1931 in Heidenheim Germany and called to eternal life, September 24th, 2009 in Summerland, BC. Kurt’s passion for living life to the fullest will be carried on by his loving wife of 56 years, Katharina, cherished daughters Frederika and Rita, son-in-law Peter Becker, grandson Georgie, granddaughters Katarina, Mickayla and Victoria, along with family in Germany and Calgary, and friends throughout the World. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at 4:00pm at Holy Child Catholic Church, 14010 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland, with Father Ferdinan Nalitan officiating.
