June Chase

June Chase passed away peacefully July 25, 2019 at the age of 95 years. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her children David (Gail) of Kelowna and Glenn of Penticton; grandchildren Kelly Walker of Victoria, Heather (Matt) Hansen, and Holly (Andrew) Povah, both of Kelowna; and great grandchildren Luella Hansen and Harrison Povah, also both of Kelowna. She was predeceased by husband Eldon Chase, daughter Patricia Walker, and grandson Craig Chase.
When they were younger, June and husband Eldon loved to square dance and formed many lifelong friendships through that. They also always loved having their family visit to stay and eat. June took pleasure in feeding people. In fact, June and Eldon were real people persons and were happiest when surrounded by friends and family. After moving to Penticton, the couple continued to enjoy spending evenings with friends and family playing cards or other games for hours.
They were also fond of going 'down home' to the Maritimes. Being an air force family, they had to move a lot and so treasured the family roots.
June's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30 am at Providence's Penticton Chapel, 1258 Main St., Penticton, BC.
