Julia died in an aircraft accident near Mayo, Yukon during a routine flight.
Julia worked as a senior geologist, was a partner in Archer Cathro & Associates and was vice-president of exploration for ATAC Resources Ltd.
Julia is mourned by a wide circle of colleagues, friends and family; by her brothers - Alex (Marta) and Malcolm (Stephanie), her niece and nephews - Emily, Mattias, George and Benjamin, her parents - David and Donna, and by her partner in life Ryan Gandy.
There will be a service for Julia this autumn. An announcement will be forthcoming.
