John Martens went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2022, at the age of 92 years. Remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Katie Martens of 55 years, Children; Esther (Peter), Kenneth (Marie), Victor (Karen), and Beverly (Andrew), 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and brother Peter. Sadly, predeceased by his first wife Mary.
John was a thoughtful and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His generous and sincere spirit touched the lives of many people. He was a lover of all creation and was filled with admiration for nature. His strength in life and faith continues to be an example for his family to cherish.
A private family service at 12:30 pm and a public memorial gathering at 2:00 pm will be held on April 2, 2022.
