BONE (Sutherland), Joan
January 12,1932- July 13, 2017
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Joan Bone after a courageous battle with cancer on July 13, 2017 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Elgan Bone (February 13, 2011) and her two children Velma and Robert. Joan will be greatly missed by her thirteen children, thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Joan was born in Vancouver BC on January 12, 1932, but called Summerland home for the last 42 years. Joan will always be known for her caring and compassionate nature. We will cherish the memory of her kind heart forever.
A private graveside service will be held at the Nakusp Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joan can be made to the BC Cancer Society.
