Celebrating the Life of Jill Southern Will

With love, we announce the peaceful passing of Jill Southern Will, on March 26th, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born on April 23, 1941, in Manchester, England, Jill lived a life filled with love, laughter, and purpose. Jill is survived by her husband of fifty years, Frank Will. She was a caring and dedicated mother to Stuart, Claire, Tessa, Glenn, and Andre, and their spouses. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a cherished friend. She is also in the hearts of her sister, Pat, along with brother-in-law, Derek, and nieces, Lucy and Sophie and their children in England.

Jill and Frank have lived in Summerland for thirty years. Jill was an artist and lived her life with passion. In Summerland, Jill was a valuable member of the Arts Council for years. Whether it was through her painting or pottery, she had an incredible way of bringing joy to the world around her. She believed in the goodness of life, always seeing the best in others and following your dreams and passions.

Jill's love was unconditional, and her wisdom endless. She taught us all the importance of family, the beauty of a kind word, and modelled for all her children and grandchildren the fine art of living life to the fullest.

Though we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in all the incredible memories and knowing her love and spirit lives on in each of us, inspiring us to live with love, and laughter—just as she did.
