Jeane Pearl Delano passed away peacefully March 8, 2021 at the age of 86 years. She will be remembered and missed by her daughter Susan McAvany; grandchildren Aaron and Austin McAvany, Jennifer McTaggart, and Destiny Brazzoni; and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Virgil John Delano and son Denton Delano.
Jeane was a long time orchardist in Summerland while being a patriotic citizen of the United States. Passionate about her ancestry, she was an avid student of genealogy and collected a vast number of facts to be donated to a society in the USA.
Jeane was also strong willed and quick witted and fervently desired to help her grandchildren.
No service will be held at her request.
