James Terrence (Terry) Green

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James Terrence (Terry) Green on December 9th, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Green, daughter Erynne Green (Alastair McKee, and their children Hazel & Hugh), son Corey Green (Jobel Sapla and their son James), his sister Sheila Binder (Ernst Binder), his sisters-in-law Heather Nan and Lynda Tavender as well as his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Jim and mother Isabel Green. Terry was born (September 26th, 1949) and raised in Summerland and taught there for 32 years. He loved sailing, camping, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. Terry was a dedicated member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church and active with many organizations in his community. Terry was a devoted family man, a true partner to his wife and an amazing father and grandfather. He was a role model for more than just his family and touched the lives of many. He will be dearly missed.
His funeral service will be held Sunday December 18th, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church at the corner of Rosedale Ave. and Prairie Valley Road in Summerland.
