Johnson, Idicie (Ida)
1923-2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Idicie (Ida) B. Johnson of Summerland, BC. She passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Dr. Andrew Pavilion at the age of 93.
Idicie was predeceased by her loving husband of over 60 years Julius L. Johnson in 2002, sister Dorothy and brother Ed (Erna) Miller. She is survived by her children Marjorie (Bill) Roberts of Kentucky, Florence (Peter) Coleridge of Victoria B.C., Donald (Judy) Johnson of West Kelowna, Ronald (Cindy) Johnson of Summerland, 3 grandchildren Matthew Coleridge of Toronto Ontario, Stephanie Coleridge of Vancouver B.C., and Graham (Sarah) Johnson of Kelowna, and 2 great grandchildren Ainsley and Everett Johnson, sister Eileen Birkett of Calgary, Alberta, and brother Gordon (Shirley) Miller of Onaway, Alberta.
Ida was a very kind and loving woman/mother who always had a smile on her face, was a friend to all she met, and was always willing to help and do for others. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Many thanks to the staff at the Dr. Andrew Pavilion for the care given to our Mother during her stay there.
