LAIDLAW
Gladys (nee Rosoman), long time resident
of Summerland and the last fi ve years of
Vernon, died on Wednesday, January 24th,
2007 at the age of 92 years. She is survived
by her loving son Lowell and his wife Penny
of Vernon, BC, three grandchildren, Lorin
(Cassie) Laidlaw of Kelowna, BC, Christy
Todd (Manfred Loos) of Peachland, BC,
Cam (Rhonda) Todd of Dawson Creek, BC,
four great grandchildren, Emma Todd
and Keanu Herzog of Peachland, BC,
Reiss and Rory Todd of Dawson Creek, BC,
sister-in-law Evelyn Shannon of Summerland,
BC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gladys was born in Enderby, BC on April
2nd, 1914. After completing school she
moved to Summerland, BC, married Robert
Norris Laidlaw and together established
the family home at Trout Creek where they
resided for 62 years. Gladys was predeceased
by her loving husband Norris and her parents
Percy and Amy Rosoman, her twin sister
Doris Beck, infant sister Ethel and infant
brother Harold. Following 65 years of
volunteering, Gladys was presented with a
life membership in the Summerland Heath
Care Auxiliary. A private family memorial
tea will be held at a later date. Funeral
arrangements were entrusted to the PLEASANT
VALLEY FUNERAL HOME (542-4333).
