Gladys Gwendolyn Broad was sadly taken from the ones that loved her on Dec. 13, 2010. Gwen was born in Vancouver on Jan. 11, 1930 the youngest of 6 children. Married in 1959 to Robin they built their family home in South Surrey where they enjoyed life on a hobby farm with their 2 children and many friends. A transfer to the Okanagan in 1979 was the start of a new adventure and many new friends. Retirement turned Gwen and Robin into snow birds trailering south for the winter sun. Gwen was a loving wife and mother.
Gwen was predeceased by her loving husband Robin. She will be greatly missed by daughter Shawn (Rob), son Steven (Karen), grandchildren Ryan (Amber), Brandon, Katelyn, Melanie, Hailey and great grandchildren Madelaine and Sophia.
