FERGUSON, GEORGE
George passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 22, 2015 at the age of 105 years. Remembered and missed by his loving children: Bob of Summerland BC, Edna (Steve) of Tswassen BC, Betty (Bob) of Vernon BC, Patti (Bob) of Calgary AB, Ken of Summerland BC, Len (Jeanne) of Summerland BC, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. George was sadly predeceased by his wife Flora in 2002. George in his younger years, loved to hunt and fish. He was a life-long member of the Legion, but he is most remembered as the Veteran who raised the Canadian flag at the cenotaph every Remembrance Day. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 28, 2015, 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #22, 14205 Rosedale Avenue, Summerland BC.
