Frank Thomas Champlin, 90, passed away in Penticton, BC on April 10, 2018 after a steady decline over the last year.

He leaves his 4 children, Janet (Jim) Lawrence, Carol (Ray) Mutas, Brian (Wilma) Champlin, and Valerie Zubel to mourn his loss. Dad is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his sister, Betty Greenway.

Dad was predeceased by his wife, Gladys on April 22, 2011.

As a teen, Dad sailed the world on the ships "Royal Prince" and Sunnyside Park" while serving with the Merchant Marines during World War II.

Dad was a very positive, upbeat person and never lost his boyish love of life. He carried that trait with him until the end. He always believed everything would turn out well. He was always cheerful, wearing a happy grin, and was often known to dance a little jig and tell you how great he felt.  It is this picture that will always come to mind when we think of Dad.

We love you Dad and will never forget you.

A graveside service will take place Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at Canyon View Cemetery, 10316 Canyonview Rd., Summerland, BC.
