Reverend Frank G. Andrews of Summerland, BC passed away on July 28th, 2008 at the age of 97 years. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters: Eleanor (Wayne) Kiefer of Armstrong, BC and Heather (Mel) Miller of Edmonton, AB; 6 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. He was sadly predeceased by his parents; sister, Winnie; brother, Fred; and loving wife of 62 years, Grace in 1999. Frank was known in British Columbia and Alberta for his many years of ministry in the United Church of Canada. Following retirement, he and Grace travelled, enjoyed visits with children and grandchildren, and involvement with the Summerland community. His strong tenor voice enriched any musical endeavour and he enjoyed participating in the Masons and Legion having served in Canada and Europe during WWII. He touched many lives and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 12 th, 2008 at 1:00pm from Summerland United Church, 13204 Henry Avenue, Summerland, BC with Reverend Kent Israel officiating. A private family graveside service will take place in Canyonview Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made in Frank’s honour to BC Heart & Stroke, Box 114, Summerland, BC V0H 1Z0; Alzheimer Society, 104-35 Westminster Avenue, East, Penticton, BC V2A 1H7 or to the charity of choice.
