June Evelyne Moberg
Passed away peacefully on October 2, 2010 at the age of 78 years. She is remembered by her children: John (Brenda) Coghlin of Calgary, Kim (Jim) Chadwick of Summerland, Shirley (Neil) McPhedran of Summerland, Barb (Dan) Flottorp of Kamloops, Tim (Barb) Coghlin of Green Bay, Wisconsin; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was sadly predeceased by her brother, Raymie Moberg. Mom touched the lives of many people in her 78 years, leaving a lasting impression on all. She devoted her life to raising her family. She was an avid sports nut and never missed a ball game, hockey game, motocross race or figure skating competition. Mom attended as many sporting events for each of her children & grandchildren as possible. She was well known at the ball fields by umpires and players and was always warmly greeted. We have been blessed to have had such a loving and caring Mom who meant the world to us ~ we love you, Mom! You will be forever in our hearts! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to SPCA. Mom was a true animal lover - never leaving home without a treat in her pocket for any 4 legged friends that may cross her path. A small family mass was held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Penticton, BC with Father Pat Monette officiating.
