Edward Francis Jones - Love you more On January 7th, 2018, the family said goodbye to our Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa; Edward Francis Jones. "Eddie" was born on the 2nd of March 1929, St. Boniface, Manitoba.

His Father was from Druid Corwen, North Wales and his Mother was from Montrose, Scotland. He was the youngest of five children. He lived life to the fullest. Dad received the highest marks at the Winnipeg Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He met the love of his life, Mary when he was only thirteen years old. They married in 1950 and later moved to Brandon Manitoba.

Dad worked for over thirty years at Kane Equipment as a heavy duty mechanic and worked up to a manager. He was a Noble of the Mystic Shrine of North America and Expert Master Mason, Knight of Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He was actively involved in Associated Canadian Travellers for over fifty years.

Dad enjoyed all sports being an avid golfer, curler, and bowler. Retiring in Summerland, Dad was able to play the game of golf he passionately loved. Throughout the year's he accomplished hitting three holes in one.

His most celebrated achievement was his family. He leaves behind his three daughters, Janice Martens, Merlene McFadyen (Ric McFadyen), Kim Jones (Joe Middlemiss), his Grandchildren Robbi (Karl) Pister, Megan Kim McFadyen (Justin Huska), Dane McFadyen (Theresa McFadyen).

His Great-grandchildren Beckham, Bennett, Madelyn, Lyla, Sophie, Violet, Miia, and Clarity.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Jones. Son Howard Jones, great-granddaughter Mary Pister, Parents, two brothers and three sisters.

The family gives a heart-filled thanks and appreciate the support over the years to the Summerland Seniors Village (Heli and Jan), Penticton General Hospital (Nurse Mary), neighbours, friends, the Legion and all his golf buddies.

Our father was a sensitive, kind, humble man with a great sense of humour. Angel's have come to guide you to bring you to Heaven's door. Dance with Mom, play with your son and your great-granddaughter.

We will miss you and will always love you until we meet again. Heaven, I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak and I seem to find the happiness I seek when were out together dancing cheek to cheek.
