In loving memory ~
Edeltraud Pott, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away suddenly at home on November 22, 2024 at the age of 89, in Summerland, BC.
Edeltraud will be remembered by her family and friends as a generous, kind, and intelligent woman who stayed home to raise her family. She was an avid reader and conversationalist with a love for both history and current events. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, especially her flowers. In later years she became an avid fan of crossword puzzles and English crime dramas.
She dedicated her life to her family and loved to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edeltraud is predeceased by her husband Friedel and survived by her children Marita (Sean) and Iris (Bob), grandchildren Steven, Alex, Carly, Krissy, Ryan, and Milena, and great-grandchildren Seth, Sloan, and Georgia.
A celebration of life will be held privately. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Causes that held special meaning to Edeltraud.
