Doug was born in Vita, Manitoba and sadly passed away in Penticton British Columbia.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen; brothers and their spouses, Larry and Rose Steinke, Glen and Olga Steinke, Terry and Valerie Steinke, Brian and Sharon Steinke, David Steinke; sisters Marilyn and Russell Hanna, Jocelyn and Roger Boulet.
As well as, sister-in-laws, Florence Stanke; Patricia and Wayne Bergquist, and many nieces and nephews.
Sadly, he is predeceased by his parents Henry and Emma Steinke, brothers Robert, Lawrence, Dennis and sisters Connie Loewen and Delores Simpson, and brother-in-law, John Graham.
