Gow, Douglas Alexander, born Vancouver, B.C., 1925 died in Penticton, B.C. on November 23, 2008. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret. Survived by his loving family, son Jeff; daughter-in-law Pam; granddaughters, Patricia, Robin, and Jackie. From his long career in the motion picture theatre business with Famous Players, to his passion for his green house and famous geraniums, to his time on Maui, to his keeping up with his neighbors and friends at Crescent Beach, Doug was always busy. The family will have an open house to celebrate his life on December 6, at the Cellar Door restaurant at the Sumac Ridge Winery in Summerland B.C. from 2 to 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Penticton and District Hospice Society or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Providence Funeral Homes.
