In Loving Memory ~
Dorothy Joyce (Joy) Mitchell died peacefully in her home on January 29, 2022 at the age of 98. She was born in Summerland where she resided until 1946, then travelled to Bermuda to start her nursing career.
She is predeceased by her sister Mollie Russel (Summerland) and her husband, Howard Mitchell who she married in 1948. Also predeceased by their son Robert.
Joy (mama) is survived by her 3 children Lynda Mitchell (Wayne Third) of Summerland, BC, Dianne Skinner (David) of Bermuda and Bill Mitchell (Alison) Duncan, BC.
She (Mama), will be remembered lovingly by her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many friends and family.
