In loving memory ~
Dorothy 'Betty' Elizabeth McWhinnie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 31, 2022, at the age of 94 years. Remembered and sadly missed by her children; Allen (Gale) of Jaffray, Judy of Penticton, Brenda (Bob) of Summerland, David (Ann) of Summerland, and Marie (Norm) of Kelowna, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and her brother Bob of Smithers. Sadly, predeceased by her husband David, her parents, 5 siblings, and one son-in-law.
Betty had a passion for a lot of things. A couple of her talents include sewing, cooking, baking, knitting, cake decorating, and gardening. Her family was the joy of her life.
A private family service was held on January 6, 2023. An interment will take place at a later date.
