Doreen Rose Edge passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the age of 85 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family Kevin, Jamie, Andrea, and Mario; grandchildren Grady, Carly, Justine, and Remy; and great granddaughter Zephryn; as well as many other friends and family.
She was sadly predeceased by her husband Earl in 2011 and brother Leon in 2020.
Doreen worked at the Bank of Montreal, Milne's Cannery, and Woodward's before retiring with her husband.
In her younger days, she was an enthusiastic gardener and skier. In retirement, Doreen and Earl enjoyed travelling to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, and across Canada. They also took up golf and spent many days camping around the Okanagan with the RV club. They also loved hosting dinners with family and friends. In later years, Doreen still enjoyed time spent with family, taking scenic drives, and listening to country music. She will be remembered for her effortless humour, undyed hair, and kind soul. Doreen (and Earl) will always be remembered as the heart of the family and we will miss them dearly.
