Dennis Leslie Pearce
June 29, 1924 - June 16, 2011
Dennis was born in Woodchurch, Birkenhead, England and died at the Irene Thomas Hospice in Ladner after a courageous battle with cancer. He faced his final journey with characteristic wit, charm and kindness. Dennis will be dearly missed by his entire family including his loving wife of more than 55 years Audrey, as well as sons Alan (Gabrielle) and Brian (Monica, their daughters Kirsten and Brittney and baby Keira). Dennis and Audrey came to Canada as newlyweds in 1955. They settled in Richmond, BC. After Dennis’ career in the office furniture industry they retired to Summerland, BC where they enjoyed sunshine, summers and Lake Okanagan. One more move brought them back to the coast and they’ve been residents of Tsawwassen, BC since 2005. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BCSPCA or the Delta Hospice Society. The family wishes to thank all the staff and volunteers at the Irene Thomas Hospice and Delta Hospital for their kindness and care during Dennis’ final weeks.
