HUDSON, David W. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David W. HUDSON. Beloved husband of Christine Elder and much loved brother of Paul Hudson (Barbara) of Ottawa. Dave has been predeceased by his parents and by his brother Bert Hudson. He was born in Ottawa on 7 June 1938. Dave was equally at home in the theatre or roaming the countryside. He spent his life on stage, air and screen. He first 'trod the boards’ as a very young man on the stage of the Ottawa Little Theatre and his last stage performance was in Summerland. His voice was heard broadcasting from many regions of Canada and he contributed to many film productions. Dave’s smile and loving spirit will always remain in the memory of all who knew him. He fought a brave battle with COPD and lung disease and we rejoice to see him breathing easy. David had many happy memories of summer camp in Golden Lake, Ontario and has requested that donations in his memory can be made to Christie Lake Camp, 400 Coventry Road, Ottawa, ON K1K 2C7 or any organization which offers less fortunate children a camping experience.
