The family of David Edward Willoughby Botting sadly announce his passing at The Hamlets, Penticton B.C. He is also survived by his brother, Bill and sister-in-law, Kathryn and will be missed by many family members and friends who were an important part of his life. David joined the RCAF in Victoria in 1939 and after serving to 1945, he settled his family in Manitoba then moved to Edmonton with Canadian Pacific Airlines, followed by Richmond (Vancouver) until retirement. Settling in Summerland in 1977 with Alyce and ‘Elinor’, he made many good friends in the Vintage Car Club. Thanks to Dr. Westby and the staff of The Hamlets for making his last years comfortable and to Lorrie Rich whose attentions were appreciated.
