Connie Stewart
On April 2, 2010 surrounded by the love of her partner, family & friends, Connie passed away after a short, courageous and extraordinary fight against Mesolithioma. Connie was predeceased by her mother Irene Ardies in 1995 and beloved daughter Laura Stewart in 2005. Survived by her partner Don, son Rick (Sherri), daughter Elaine Trackl (Ron), grandson Brian, daughter Darlene Turner, grandsons Cody, Ryan Turner, siblings Tom Ardies, (San Diego) Murray Ardies (Keremeos), and many wonderful life long friends. Connie was born in Edmonton Alberta, January 11, 1936 and spent her early years in Keremeos and Penticton. She spent 25 years working at the Penticton Retirement Centre and made many wonderful friends. We will all miss her smile. Come help us celebrate Connie’s life on April 24, at Parkview Funeral Home, 1258 Main St. Penticton, BC at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Connie, Laura and Irene will occur at Lakeview Cemetery, 775 Lower Bench Rd. at 12:00 pm. Please join us for fellowship back at Parkview after the interment. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to bring a food staple for the Penticton Food Bank, or SPCA.
