August 28, 1931 - October 30, 2018
On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, Brian Croyle, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 87. He was surrounded by family through the last few days in his battle with Alzheimers.

Brian was born on August 28, 1931, in Southampton, England and was the only child of Stan and Hilda Croyle. He served in the British Army in Egypt followed by a life-long career in the construction industry. He emigrated to Canada in August 2004 with his wife and soulmate, Sandra to enjoy their retirement in beautiful Summerland, a place with which they both fell in love.

Brian was an immensely practical man; he loved working with his hands and was a true perfectionist in his trade. But more than anything, we will remember him for his passion in entertaining family and friends with wonderful meals, in a house full of fun and laughter. He loved cooking, music, dancing and spending time with the people he loved. He had a generous nature, was incredibly friendly, always smiling and had a wonderful sense of humour.

Brian will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife Sandra; daughter Sarah and her husband Steve; son Tim and his wife Doris; and grandchildren Sophie, Ben and Amie. The family will be holding a small private celebration of his life in the future.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and sincere thanks to the staff in the residential care unit at the Summerland Seniors Village. We would also like to make special mention of the incredible staff on the medical south ward at the Penticton Regional Hospital who took so much care to make Brian's final days as comfortable as possible.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Penticton Regional Hospital, c/o South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, 550 Carmi Ave., Penticton, BC V2A 9Z9.

Condolences may be directed to the family through providencefuneralhomes.com 250-494-7752.
