In Loving Memory ~
Bill Sawatzky of Summerland, B.C., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 14, 2023, at the age of 87 years.
Remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Judy; children Aaron, Gerald (Heidi), and Ted (Roberta); grandchildren, Ryan, Conner, Rebecca, and Brandi; and siblings Helen and John (Toots).
Sadly, predeceased by his parents Helen and John, and family members Tina Frieson, Nettie (Peter) Neufeld, Henry (Mary), Jake (Helen/Ann), Mary (John) Hildebrand, Marge (Ike) Hildebrand, Anne (Henry) Hildebrand, twins Cornie and Peter, Dick (Bernice), and David.
Bill was well-loved for his humour, generous spirit, compassion, thoughtfulness, and never-ending ability to fix things.
A Graveside Service was held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Canyon View Cemetery, with John Briscall officiating.
Memorial tributes may be made to Red Cross.
