Betty Mary Jane Gibbons of Summerland, BC passed away peacefully on October 14, 2011 at the age of 81 years. She is remembered by her loving husband, Philip John Gibbons, children: Lynn Joy Carter of Lumby BC, David Alan (Sherri Noreen Wilson) Gibbons of Edmonton AB, 5 grandchildren: Shaina Leanne Gibbons, Shelby Danielle Gibbons, Jeffrey Ryan Gibbons and Shayla Cassidy Gibbons, all of Edmonton AB, and Daniel Michael Carter of Williams Lake BC. Betty was sadly predeceased by her first husband Henry David Gibbons and her grandson, Christopher James Carter. John and Betty were married in North Vancouver BC, lived there until they moved to Golden, BC in 1989 and then moved to Summerland in 1998. No service will be held at Betty’s request.
