Belle Maureen Molnar passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 5th, 2022. She was born to the late Hayden Robinson and Ellen Keyes on March 31st, 1932.
Maureen was raised in Winnipeg along with her siblings, Dolores, Jack, and Michael. She moved to Vancouver in the early 1950s where she met her late husband, Nandor Molnar.
Maureen and Nandor raised their children in Vancouver and Summerland, moving permanently to Summerland in 1981.
Maureen was a very devoted Mother and Grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends for her grace, kindness, and generosity. She was a fantastic host and was happiest when surrounded by people to share their laughter and love. She was a great cook and superb baker, expressing her love with food.
Maureen was an avid reader, enjoying mystery novels and books on spirituality and faith. She was deeply faithful and active with her Church as a member of the Catholic Women's League. She will be in her fellow parishioners' prayers.
Maureen is survived by her children and their spouses, George and Martha, Charlotte and Murali, John and Sarah, and by her grandchildren, Rebecca and her spouse Nick, Tameus, Maya, and Christine. They are all extremely grateful for having had a beautiful Mother and Grandmother to guide their lives with love.
