Arthur William “Bill” Barker February 12, 1929 – April 13, 2010 Bill passed away peacefully at Jasper, AB. He was married for almost 57 years to his beloved wife and constant companion, Eve (his Peruvian treasure) from July 18, 1953. They have 5 children, being Andrew, Stephen, Jeffrey, Christine, James and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, a sister Violet (Norman) and a brother Gary (Terry). Bill was born in Calgary. His family spent several years in England where the family was detained during World War II. Bill went to work at age 14 in England to contribute to the family purse. They returned to Canada and Calgary in 1946. Bill became employed by the Imperial Bank, then Imperial Oil Limited for 35 years in various financial positions that took him and his family from Calgary to Edmonton to Toronto & back to Calgary. He & Eve retired to Summerland, BC in the Okanagan Valley in 1997. At the request of the deceased, there will be no Service. Condolences may be directed to the family through
