NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY & NOTICE OF ASSISTANCE

In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, the District of Summerland gives notice that it intends to lease approximately 922.

In accordance with Section 26 of the Community Charter, the District of Summerland gives notice that it intends to lease approximately 922.68 square metres of a portion of the land legally described as Lot A District Lot 473 Osoyoos Division Yale District Plan 41973, with a civic address of 15600 Highway 97, Summerland, BC, as shown outlined on the sketch plan below, to the Summerland Chamber of Commerce for an initial term of two years beginning on January 1, 2023, and ending on December 31, 2024, with the option to extend for four additional years, for a nominal annual fee of $1.00. The land will be used exclusively for the purposes of operating Chamber of Commerce administration offices, a Visitor Information Centre, and other Tourist Commercial purposes in accordance with the District of Summerland Zoning Bylaw No. 2000-450.

In accordance with Section 24 of the Community Charter, the District of Summerland gives notice of its intention to provide a form of assistance to the Summerland Chamber of Commerce by leasing the land to the not-for-profit organization for less than market value.
