Another day, another snow warning for the Coquihalla.

Environment Canada is warning motorists that a Pacific front will spread snow over the coastal passes tonight. The heaviest snow is expected to develop overnight along the Coquihalla highway between Hope and Merritt where accumulations near 15 cm are expected by Friday morning.

Additional amounts exceeding 10 cm are possible for Friday.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

ShiftIntoWinter.ca reminds drivers to know before you go. Adjust to winter driving behaviour and use winter tires and chains.

Road conditions are available at www.drivebc.ca.
