Heavy snowfall has made roads slippery in the South Okanagan.

On Dec. 21, rescue crews were called to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 97 in Summerland.

There were no serious injuries.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the region, with snowfall of 10 to 20 centimetres expected.

In addition, highway alerts have been issued for highways in the area, including the Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Kamloops and the Okanagan Connector.
