Truck goes missing on test drive

A truck is a week overdue after it was taken from a Summerland dealership for a test drive.

Truck overdue

Somebody took a pickup truck from a Summerland auto dealership for a test drive Jan. 24 and didn’t return it.  Missing is a 2005 grey Dodge Ram crewcab. Dealer plate number is D27434.

Domestic disturbance

A 38-year-old man was arrested after a report of a domestic assault at a home on Pierre Drive Jan. 28. He was released from jail on an undertaking to have no contact with the alleged victim. He is scheduled to appear in court in March.

Assault investigation

Police are still investigating a report of assault at a Garnett Valley residence Jan. 31 around 1 a.m. The incident involved a 22-year-old female and a 55-year-old male.
