Police responded to three break-and-enters in the Penticton area last week, including two on the same day.

Friday saw two break-ins, though in one incident, reported at 1:15 p.m., nothing was reportedly stolen.

A door was kicked in at a Ridgedale Avenue residential garage while the occupant was home.

Nothing appears to have gone missing from the garage.

In another incident, however, reported at 2:50 p.m. on Friday, a storage shed at an Okanagan Falls warehouse was reportedly broken into within the preceding 16 hours.

Older items, tools and electronics were reportedly stolen, and a fifth wheel trailer’s door was pried open, with life jackets and headlamps taken from inside.

Penticton Fabricating on Dawson Avenue reported a break-in last Thursday at around 3:45 a.m. As the site was being opened up, two people were reportedly seen running from the building down an alley and a back door was found to be open.

Police believe the two entered through a rear window using a ladder. Money was reported stolen from a petty cash box and from a pop machine.

Police say that incident is under investigation.
