The swimming advisory at two Osoyoos beaches has been lifted.

The Town of Osoyoos received satisfactory bacteriological results from water samples taken at Legion and Cottonwood Beach. The swimming advisory for these locations has been removed.

The swim advisory began July 17.

Due to unsatisfactory levels of E. Coli in water samples taken at the two popular beaches, the town of Osoyoos issued the swimming advisory for these locations and put up signs that said “swimming not recommended.”
