Summerland RCMP have released the name of the woman killed after being hit by a motorcycle while walking in a crosswalk.
Maxine Svennes, 84, was crossing Prairie Valley Road in a marked crosswalk on Sept. 13 at 11:32 a.m. when she was struck by an eastbound BMW operated by a 62 year old male. She was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Police and coroner investigations are continuing into this incident.
