Summerland issues 16 building permits in July

Construction value so far this year tops $33M

Construction continues on the Oasis development on Lakeshore Drive in Summerland. From January to July, 2022, the municipality of Summerland has issued 153 building permits, with a total construction value of $33,737,000. (John Arendt - Summerland Review)

The municipality of Summerland issued 16 building permits in July, with a total construction value of $2,738,000.

In the last five years, only 2018 had a higher dollar value for construction of July building permits.

So far this year, the municipality has issued 153 building permits, with a total construction value of $33,737,000. This is higher than any of the past five years.

Throughout all of 2021, Summerland issued a total of 203 building permits, with a value of $59,775,300.
