Summerland council members have been appointed to committees, commissions and boards.
The appointments were made at the Nov. 13 council meeting.
Coun. Erin Carlson will be the council representative on the Agricultural Advisory Committee.
Coun. Erin Trainer will be the representative to the Advisory Planning Copmmission.
Coun. Richard Barkwill will be the representative to the Community Climate Action Committee.
Mayor Toni Boot will be the representative on the Cultural Development Committee.
Trainer will serve as the representative to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Coun. Martin Van Alphen will sit on the Water Advisory Committee.
Doug Patan will be the council representative to the Municipal Insurance Association.
Carlson will be the representative on the Okanagan Regional Library. An alternate has not yet been named.Patan will be the liaison to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway.
Coun. Doug Holmes will be the liaison to the Summerland Chamber of Commerce.
Barkwill will serve as the representative to the Summerland Museum and Archives Society.
Municipal administrator Linda Tynan will be the representative to the Southern Interior Municipal Employers Association.
