The Summerland Chamber of Commerce has elected three directors to two-year terms on its board.
The election was held March 17 during the chamber’s annual general meeting. The meeting was held online.

Erin Hayman of GPH Mechanical, Mike Hildebrand, business consultant and Brandyn Steele of Luxe Valley Digital were elected to two-year terms on the board. Their terms will end in March 2024.
Others on the Chamber’s board of directors are Luke Johnson of Open Skies Media, Roch Fortin of Maple Roch, Paul Biro of Sakamoto Agency Inc., Steve Lornie of Okanagan Crush Pad, Barb Gillespie of Cherry Tree Quilts and Colleen Statt of Bella Vita Flowers. These chamber members are on the board until March, 2023.
The role of president of the chamber is still vacant.
The Summerland Chamber consists of 60 member businesses. Since Jan. 1, 2021, membership in the chamber has been voluntary. Previously, all businesses in the community were automatically members of the chamber.
