School kits to developing countries

Kits help children in other countries with supplies needed for school.

Summerland United Church congregation have assembled 387 school kits.

This year  the assembled school kits are being sent to Ukraine/Crimea, Bosnia and Mozambique.

For more than five years, under the umbrella  of the Mennonite Central Committee, Summerland has delivered more than 1,000 school kits.

The school kits are sent from Summerland to Abbotsford . From Abbotsford they are then delivered to school children around the world.

The school kit project is spearheaded by the Mission and Service Committee of Summerland United Church but is a joint project of the whole congregation.
